healing & education for rebels & cyclebreakers

I have always felt a little out of place, a little “too much,” always pushing against the grain. I have ruffled my share of feathers and burnt my share of bridges. Forever the black sheep, I always felt alone in that. In my healing journey, I have discovered quite the contrary-we, the black sheep, are everywhere. Further, connection and community mean survival and healing. My decision to become a therapist, coach, and educator is born of the desire to help other black sheep find hope, belonging, and healing together.

This is a home for the black sheep of the world,
for anyone who has felt out of place or been intentionally marginalized. For those determined rebels and courageous cyclebreakers who dare to want something more than our current systems allow. My hope is that you find community, healing, and belonging here.

We are deeply affected by our relationships with others. The multiple levels of systems that we exist and participate in provide rich context for our lives and impact our thoughts and beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. Fundamentally, our “symptoms” and trauma develop as natural consequences of the white supremacist, patriarchal, colonialist, and capitalist systems we are trapped within. We were not made to live this way and we don’t have to. Healing lies in restoring agency, caring and resisting in community, creating new narratives, and in learning to repair and balance one’s relationships.
